Wheels in Motion dance program and performing group both fall under the Roxey Ballet's umbrella program "Total Dance Access"
The Wheels in Motion dance program was founded in 1994 by Mark and Melissa Roxey. This teaching, mentoring and performing project provides a vehicle for people of all ages and abilities to explore the art of dance regardless of individual disabilities. A teaching team of professional artists work with students of all ages and levels to unleash the artists within. The professional dancers of Roxey Ballet act as the vessel for creation and the student begins......

In conjunction numerous partnering organizations who share the mission of serving the disabiltied community , Roxey Ballet unifies both standing and sitting dance artists of all ages and levels to learn, create original choreographic works, study dance and perform around the country. Through daily activities participants develop their individual skills in all aspects of the dance arts. Roxey Ballet's artists are trained to handle all types of disabilities.
