Apprentices
Often times a dancer is not ready for the stress of professional company or the company must work with the dancer prior to full time work. This is a perfect opportunity for young dancers with little or no prior dance experience. Apprentice positions
are for dancers who seek to expand their skills,
dance training and experience while being a part of a team
of dancers with similar goals and interests. These apprenticeships
are offered through Roxey Ballet. Dancers must have graduated
from high school and be at least 17 years of age. A formal
audition is required. Scholarship/apprentice contracts are
for a period of one year should a student be accepted. There
is no promise of employment when a dancer is an apprentice.
Artists may qualify for a small stipend to assist with pointe
shoes.
RBC II, Traineed program and
Work Study Positions are availabel through the affilated Mill Ballet School.
RB II auditions
are held in August/September of each year and by invitation
only.
Roxey Ballet II auditions are for dancers ages 12-18 who seek
to expand their skills, dance training and experience while
being a part of a team of dancers with similar goals and interests.

by Roxey Ballet. Dancers who have participated in this program
have gained admission in major dance programs, such as The
Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, School of American
Ballet and San Francisco Ballet, as well as major universities,
colleges and dance companies throughout the United States.
